the primary purpose of somerset land preservation trust, inc. (the "trust") is to engage in or otherwise to promote the preservation, protection or enhancement of land in its natural, scenic, historical, agricultural, forested, to open-space or similar condition or use as well as the preservation, protection or enhancement of the plant and animal life on such land as well as to engage in or otherwise promote the scientific study of and to educate the public regarding local natural resources including plants, animals, birds and other wildlife.
